The videomaker and the VFX artist are the engineers of the image: they handle shooting, shape the edit, and craft special effects and compositing to transform raw footage into sequences that amaze.
Our Cinema and Video program with a specialization in Videomaking – VFX – Post-production is designed for those who love the camera as much as the software — and for anyone who watches a film and can’t help but wonder: “But how did they shoot that?”

You work on real sets and in the studio, learning professional workflows in editing, color grading, motion graphics, green screen, tracking, and rotoscoping, all the way to final delivery. A practical and creative journey in which you develop a complete technical-artistic vision and learn to give stories their visual form, from the first action to the last frame.

first year

Foundations and Labs
A dynamic, hands-on first year: Directing – Directing Tools and Shooting Techniques to move confidently on set, and Film Language to guide creative choices. Ideas take shape through Screenwriting Techniques; Audio Recording and Adobe Premiere | Editing build a clean and efficient workflow. Students practice with Documentary and Event Reportage, while Short Form teaches how to be impactful in short formats.
second year
Credits: 60
Foundations and Labs
In the second year, students move into advanced practice: Cinematography, Directing and Actor Direction, Screenwriting, and Film History. Production takes shape through Production | Fundamentals, Pre-production, and Casting, followed by Short Film Workshop and Post-production. In the studio: Resolve (Editing, Color), After Effects (VFX), and Audition (Sound Design). The year concludes with a Music Video project.
third year
VIDEO, VFX and POST-PRODUCTION
Credits: 60
Foundations and Labs
Third year of Video, VFX, and Post-production: professional refinement with Audio Mixing, Photoshop/Illustrator | Advanced Digital Imaging, After Effects | Motion Graphics, Resolve | Color Grading, and Production | Shooting. On the field: Event Reportage, Commercials and Advertising, and the creation of the Showreel. The year concludes with the Final Thesis Workshop and a Personal Project.

Mohole is a certified training institution. At the end of your studies, you will receive a Degree and a Qualification Certificate, and you will be able to obtain internationally recognized professional certifications.

Mohole School is accredited by EABHES (European Accreditation Board of Higher Education Schools).
The three-year program includes the acquisition of 180 ECTS credits during the course of study.
The Videomaking, VFX, and Post-production program is currently under EABHES accreditation review.
Lombardy Region
Mohole School is an institution accredited by the Lombardy Region, and is therefore authorized to issue professional competency certificates.
Certified International Exams: Adobe
We are an official Adobe ACP Examination Center:
you will be able to earn the Video Editing Specialist certification during the three-year program.
